The power tiller operated high pressure sprayer was evaluated to find its suitability for orchard spraying, with single, double and triple spray guns. The diameter of the orifice was varied from 1.98 mn1 to 4.38 mn1 and the angle of inclination of the spray gun from 0 to 90o from horizontal plane. Single spray gun for tall growing trees like coconut and double guns for medium growing trees like Guava and Citrus can be used. By increasing the orifice diameter from the existing 2.38 mm to 3:18 rom, the spray height increased by another 2.0 m at 750 incli-nation. By attaching an additional PYC pipe of 2.5 m length (25 mm diameter) to the bottom of the spray gun, the spray spectrum was found to reach a height of 12 m.
