Three systemic and three non-systemic fungicides were tested for two s:asons (1984 and 1985) at the Grape Research Station, Hyderabad against grape downy mildew. The results revealed that the level of effectiveness of systemic fungicides oxadixyl 64wp (0.15% and 0.2%), oxadixyl 5Owp (0.15% and 0.2%) and metalaxyl ziram 280 FW (0.4%) was very high, followed by another systemic fungicide phosetyl 80wp (0.2%) and non-systemic fungicide captafol (0.15%).
