Two field trials were conducted to evaluate the efficacy and cost benefit ratio of eleven fungicies against powdery mildew (Erysiphs poligoni D. C.), anthracnose (Colletorichum lindamu-thanum Sacc. & Magn.) and leaf blight (Macrophomina phaseoline Petrak) or. mungbean for two seasons. Dincoap gave best control of powdery mildew, resulting in maximum yield and monetary gain. Carbendazim was the most effective against anthracnose and leaf blight also resulting in maximum yield, but was next only to captan and mancozeb in terms of monetary benefits.
