Abstract

Heliothis armigera (Hb.) is a common polyphagous pest in India, causing maximum damage to several economic crops. Mass-release of three species of egg parasites, one of egg-larval and three of larval parasites during 1977–83 seems to help in control of the pest in Kamataka. Three species of exotic parasites released have been recovered and so show signs of establishment.
