Experiments conducted to study the effectiveness of slow release fertilizers of nitrogen and neem products revealed that basal application of neem-blended urea (1:5) and coaltar coated urea @ 50 kg N/ha reduced the stemborer deadhearts, white-ears and recorded higher grain yield.
