Twenty seven clones of acid lime and one of seedless lime were evaluated for resi-stance to citrus tristeza virus under field conditions in 1985 and 1986 and by artificial inoculations in the green house in 1986. On the basis of various parameters such as plant height, stem girth, tree spread, number and weight of fruits, stem pits/10 cm wood, and vein flecks/leaf, clone C6 (Seedless lime) was graded as highly resistant, C2, C10, C11 and C15 as moderately susceptible. Others showed susceptible to highly susceptible reaction.
