Abstract

Combinations of mancozeb + copper oxychloride, streptomycin + tetracycline + copper oxychloride and Bordeaux mixture were tested for their compatibility with two insecticides viz., monocrotophos and fenvalerate for the control of canker disease and citrus leafminer. Spraying fenvalerate follow'ed by Bordeaux mixture after 3 days recorded least infestation of leafminer (1.29%), which was on par with plots sprayed with monocrotophos followed by Bordeaux mixture after 3 days and streptomycin+tetracytline+copper oxychloride+ fenvalerate. Plots sprayed with streptomycin+tetracycline+copper oxychloride recorded least intensity of canker, followed by those treated with streptomycin+tetracycline+copper oxychloride+fenvalerate. Streptomycin+tetracyline+copper oxychloride+fenvalerate sprays were most effective for the control of both leafminer and canker disease of citrus.
