Studies were conducted on the population dynamics and control of the mite, Tetranychus ludeniZecher on Okra at Samastlpur in Bihar. The mite appeared in the first week of April. Population peak was recorded in June, and a sharp decline in mite density was observed in July. The mites disappeared in September. The predatory mites, Amblyseius spp. appeared in second week of June. Sulphur, dlcofol, tetradlfon, and neem seed kernel extract were most effective for controlling this mite on Okra.
