Abstract

Powdery mildew of pea caused by Erysiphe polygon; DC. Is one of the major disease problems of pea in Himachal Pradesh. Studies were carried out on the effect of fungicides and nutrient applications on disease incidence and pod yield. Sulfex and Bavistin in combination with NPK resulted in maximum pod yield. Sulfex was better than Bavistln for controlling powdery mildew on pea. Sprays applied at 7 day Intervals resulted in better disease control than. those applied at 14 day Intervals.
