Abstract

Different spray schedules were tested for the control of jassid, gray semilooper, and stemfly in soybean. Three sprays at 40, 55, and 70 days after sowing (DAS) significantly reduced populations of jassid and gray semilooper and stem damage by stemfly, and resulted in maximum yield (15.44 q/ha), and net profit (Rs. 1731.5/ha). However, one spray at 40 DAS showed the highest cost-benefit ratio (1: 5.36), followed by two sprays at 40 and 55 DAS.
