Abstract

Flufenoxuron (@ 75 and 100 g/ha) an insect growth regulator (IGR) was found more effective in con trolling Hellcoverpa armigera compared to teflubenzuron, diflubenzuron (IGRs), monocrotophos and dichlorvos. Laboratory studies also established better morphogenic effects of flufenoxuron whereas appreciable morphological deformities were not observed with other IGRs.
