Field efficacy ofdicofol (0.05%), ethion (0.05%), endosulfan (0.05%), fenpropathrin(0.01%), monocrotophos (0.01%), dimethoate (0.05%), phosalone (0.05%), sulphur WP (0.25%) and neem seed kernel extract (NSKE) (2%) was studied against Polyphagotarsonemus latus Banks infesting olitorius jute during 1991 and 1992 season. Dicofol proved to be superior followed by endosulfan over other pesticides.
