Abstract

Seed treatment with imidacloprid increased the plant height, leaf area and yield of okra besides effectively controlling aphids and jassids. 7.5 g of imidacloprid per kg of okra seed was found ideal. Two foliar sprays during vegetative stage of the crop can be avoided if the seed is treated.
