The loss in terminal yield in New Wilt affected plants is 44.92% while that from revived plant is 34.88%. A mathematical expression has been proposed to estimate potential yield and loss in wilt affected fields. This equation holds true within statistical limits when estimated losses were compared with actual observed losses.
