Abstract

An integrated management strategy was worked out aginst sclerotial wilt disease caused by Sclerotium rolfsii in bell pepper cultivar California wonder under glasshouse conditions in pot culture. Out of the eight treatments, combined application of Trichoderma viride (15 g/kg soil), cheshnut compound (25 ml/kg soil) and neem cake (100 g/kg soil), followed by combined application of T. viride and neem cake were found superior in controlling the disease. No mortality of plants was observed in the combined application of T. viride, cheshunt compound and neem cake, whereas, the plant mortality was 11.4 and 13.6% in combined application of T.viride and neem cake and T.viride and Cheshunt compound treatments respectively.
