Abstract

Relative contact toxicities of eight neem formulations viz., Achook, Neemax, NG4, Nimbecidine (each with 300ppm azadirachtin), Fortune Aza, Rakshak (each with 1, 500ppm azadirachtin), Econeem (with 3, 000ppm azadirachtin) and Neem Azal T/S (with 10, 000ppm azadirachtin) were assessed for three hopper pests of rice in greenhouse experiments. Neem Azal T/S against green leafhopper (Nephotettix virescens Distant), NG4 against brown planthopper (Nilaparvata lugens Stal) and Rakshak against whitebacked planthopper (Sogalella furcifera Horvath) recorded least LCW values.
