The efficacy of Neem aza, Helicoverpa Nuclear Polyhedrosis Virus (HNPV), Bird perches, Endosulfan and Integrated Pest Management (IPM) treatments on the fecundity of Helicoverpa armigera Hubner on chickpea was studied. Neem aza 0.006 per cent spray and IPM which received Neem aza as first and fourth spray were found to be the best treatments in suppressing the oviposition of H. armigera, by registering 37.00 and 36.79 per cent reduction over control, respectively.
