The mite damaged fruits were found to have less fruit weight, fruit size, juice volume and titrable acidity. The infestation caused more rind thickness, total soluble solids, sugars and ascorbic acid contents, comparatively. Mancozeb (0.5%) proved best in controlling the mite. The efficacy of other pesticides in controlling the rust mite in the descending order are: monocrotophos (0.05%), dicofol (0.1%), phosalone (0.5%), wettable sulphur (0.4%), Mitac (0.05%), triazophos (0.05%), profenophos (0.05%), neem formulation (Azadirachtir. 0.5%) and Anona (0.5%).
