Among the ten mango cultivars screened against mango leaf webber, Orthaga $$ Hampson, the cultivars Neelum, Swama Jahangheer and Himayuddin were found resistant to leaf webber with less number of webs per tree. Whereas the cultivars Bangalora and Panchadarakalasa x Willard were found to be highly susceptible with higher number of webs per tree. The total phenols, reducing sugars and chlorophyll contents were higher in Neelum, Neeleshan and Swarna Jahangheer compared to the cultivars Bangalorea, Panchadarakalasa x Willard.
