Abstract

Culture filtrates of various antagonists were tested on mycelial growth of Sclerotium rolfsii Sacc. The inhibitory activity of heat sterilized culture filtrates was less effective as compared to filter sterilized culture filtrates. Filter sterilized culture filtrates of Pseudomonas fluorescein Migula and heat sterilized culture filtrates of Trichoderma harzianum Rifai were more effective in inhibiting the mycelial growth, thereby causing reduction in dry mycelial weight of S. rolfsii.
