Thirty-eight greengram genotypes were screened for resistance to Thrips palmi Kafny and peanut bud necrosis virus (PBNV) under field conditions at National Bureau of Plant Genetic Resources, Regional Station, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad during Rabi 2000 and Kharif 2001. Four genotypes, viz., LGG 460, 480, 491 and 582 consistently showed resistance to T. palmi in both Rabi 2000 (2.0 - 2.3 thrips 5 t−1) and Kharif 2001 (4.7 - 5.0 thrips 5 t−1). In addition, the same genotypes also recorded resistance and moderate resistance to PBNV, respectively in Rabi (7.1 - 10 0%) and Kharif (12.5 - 15.0%).
