Azadirachtin, Clerodendrum inerme dust (100%) and cold alcohol extracts (CAE) (10%) were as effective as cartap hydrochloride to Achaea Janata. Cartap hydrochloride had highest yield followed by azadirachtin, C. inerme dust (100%) and C. inerme 10%CAE. The benefit cost-ratio was highest in C. inerme dust (100%)(1:5.75) followed by C. inerme dust (10%)(1:4.14) and C. inerme dust (15%)(1:4.02). Azadirachtin and cartap hydrochloride had C:B ratio of 1:2.61 and 1:1.96, respectively. Azadirachtin, C. inerme CAE (3,5 and 10%) and dust (5,10,15 and 100%) formulations were found safer to larval parasitoid, Microplitis maculipennis than cartap hydrochloride.
