Studies were conducted on incidence of ear head bug on twenty eight genotypes of sorghum as well as on effect of abiotic factors influencing its population. There was significant positive correlation for the combined effect of genotype variation, number of nymphs as well as adults per panicles on panicle ength. Th effect of abiotic fctors showed coorrelation between nymph population and relative humidity (r = 0.34); nymphs and sunshine duration (r = 0.49) as well as the adults of head bug and sunshine duration (r = 0.89).
