On farm trials on chemical control of late leaf spot in groundnut were conducted during 2002, 2004 and 2005 kharif seasons with two treatments (spray and no spray). The results revealed that fungicidal spray with hexaconazole (0.2%) was found superior by recording low PDI of (32.5). In addition, the same treatment recorded more pod yield (780 kgha−1), haulm yield (1146 kgha−1), shelling percentage (64%) and test weight (30.7 g) besides highest benefit cost ratio of 2.73 than control (no spray).
