Study on incidence of mango leaf webber Orthaga euadrusalis in seven varieties of mango during 2009 revealed low intensity during 30th standard week, gradual improvement upto 42nd standard week, sudden increase by 44th std.week and peak level by 50th standard week. AU Rumani and Peddarasam were least preferred by the pest while maximum incidence was recorded in Suvarnarekha. The correlation coefficients worked out between weather parameters and leaf webber incidence showed significant negative correlation of all weather parameters except sunshine hours which showed positive relationship with webber incidence. Prediction models developed for leaf webber incidence in seven varieties based on five years data indicated that non linear regression equations predicted the pest incidence with higher precision than linear regression equations.
