Abstract

During present investigations on effect of weather variables on development of downy mildew disease in fenugreek, results of two consecutive cropping seasons revealed that downy mildew is greatly favoured by high relative humidity (more than 80%) and range of minimum (4–10°C) and maximum temperature (18–24°C). Significant and negative correlation was recorded with maximum and minimum temperatures whereas a positive significant correlation was observed with morning and evening relative humidity.
