An experiment on "Enhancement of seed quality with bioagents in urdbean" was conducted with urdbean cultivar, WBG 26 for two years viz., 2008–11 at Seed Research and Technology Center, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad. The results indicated significant differences among all the treatments in both the years of study. Pooled data over two years reported highest seed yield with Bacillus subtilis (10.1) followed by combination of Trichoderma viride + Pseudomonas fluorescens (9.5). Considering seed quality parameters, combination of T. viride and P. fluorescens recorded maximum seedling length of 38.9 cm over both the years of study. Considering vigour index as an important attribute, combination of T. viride + P. fluorescens and B. subtilis recorded high S.V.I – I and II as 3318 and 2.6 and 3069 and 2.7, respectively. Hence, it can be concluded that seed treatment with combination of T. viride and P. fluorescens followed by B. subtilis were found effective in improving the quality and increasing the seed yield under field conditions.
