Anti-potato and anti-tomato polyclonal antibodies were used for serodiagnosis to detect latent infection of Ralstonia solanacearum infecting potato. Maximum latent infection in tubers was observed in local variety (Tumdi) followed by cv. Kufri Giriraj and Kufri Jyoti whereas minimum latent infection was found in Tumdi at seedling stage than other varieties. The absorbance recorded at seedling stage showed least population of bacteria, even though tubers have considerable amount of inoculum.
