Field experiments were conducted in two crop seasons during 2010–11 to study management of peanut stem necrosis disease in field condition. Among ten treatments tested in two seasons during Rabi 2010–2011 and Kharif 2011, treatment T9 with combination of seed treatment with imidacloprid, removal of weeds, border crop with maize, intercrop with red gram and dimethoate spray @ 2 ml/l recorded zero per cent disease incidence. This treatment followed by seed treatment with imidacloprid @ 1 ml/kg of seed+ Removal of TSV susceptible weeds+ Spray with dimethoate @ 2 ml/l 30 days after sowing recorded 1.8% disease incidence.
