Studies were conducted to evaluate the effect of morphological characters of plants on the infestation of sugarcane woolly aphid in different sugarcane genotypes. Among the 15 genotypes evaluated during 2005 -07, the leaf width exhibited significant positive correlation (r=-0.52**) with SWA grade. Cane weight (r= -0.72**) and pole per cent (r= -0.54**) had significant negative correlation with pest grade. Genotype Co 91010 was found to be highly resistant in recording lowest pest grade and SWA density, whereas Co 2000 -06 was recorded as resistant. The genotypes Co 92020 and Co 91013 were highly susceptible to the pest infestation. Co 91010 recorded highest cane yield (85.99 t/ha), which was on par with commercial grown genotypes.
