Abstract

Soybean (Glycine max (Linn Merrill) seeds were treated with 7 fungicides viz., Yitavax, Captan, Dithane M-45, Agrosan GN, Difolatan, thiram and Bavistin for testing their efficacy against diseases caused by Sclerotium rolfsii. Amongst systemics, Vitavax helped in reducing pre-and post-emergence mortality while the non systemics were more specific. Dithane M-45 was effective in checking pre-emergence mortality while Agrosan GN effectively controlled the post emergence death of seedlings.
