Abstract

The effect of LC 30 (0.0088) and LC 50 (0.0182) of ethyl-parathion on the biology (fecundity, fertility, longevity, weight of larvae and pupae) of individuals surviving from the treatments were determined for two generations of Spodoptera litura F.

Two concentrations of ethyl = parathion reduced the oviposition and hatching percentage in both the generations. Also two concentrations of ethyl = parathion shortened the duration of larvae, pupae and adults. Further, reduction in larval and pupal weight were observed in both the generations.
