Relative effectiveness of some chemical insecticides and becterial insecticides against castor semilooper (Achoea Janata L.)

Two chemical insecticides, carbaryl and dicrotophos and two bacterial insecticides Dipel and Cajrab each in three doses were tested against Achoea Janata. The overall performance of both organic chemical insecticides was found superior to bacterial insecticidal formulations. Carbaryl proved best followed by dicrotophos and Dipel. Cajrab was the least effective.
