Abstract

The results of pooled analysis revealed that five sprays of 0. 03% phosphamidon at 15 days interval was the most effective and on par with four sprays of 0.03% phosphamidon, five sprays of 0.2% carbaryl + sulphur (1:1) at 15 days interval and four sprays at 21 days intervals Considering the cost and possible residual toxicity four sprays of 0.03% phospsamidon at 15 days intervals is recommended. Its cost of application is Rs. 108.00 per hectare.
