Three concentrations of 7 insecticides viz. fenitrothion, malathion, dimecron, ekalux, furadan and zolone were screened for their relative efficacy against the caterpillars of Stomopteryx nerteria infesting groundnut crop during March and April, 1976. Zolone(0.05 and 0.025 percent), furadan (0.05 and 0. 025 per cent) and ekalux 0.05 per cent) were very effective for its control.
