A field experiment conducted at the main farm of Agricultural College Parbhani during Kharif 1976 season revealed that quinalphos 350 g a.i./ha spray was highly superior in reducing the pod borer infestation and increased the yield of grains. However, higher net profit was obtained by the treatment of the crop with monocrotophos 200 g a. i./ha spray.
