Two field trials were conducted during 19/6 and 1977 at Regional Sugarcane Research Farm Navsari (Gujarat), to evaluate the efficacy of different insecticides against Pyri-11a nymphs on sugarcane. Insecticides were applied when there was a severe infestation of Pyrilla. The results indicated that endosulfan 0.075 percent monocrotophos 0.03 percent and carbaryl 0.25 percent are most effective for the control of Pyrilla on sugrcane.
