In the studies carried out for 3 years from 1975 to 77 at Punjabrao Krishi Vidyapeeth, Akola on the response of early and dwarf varieties of sunflower to jassids Amrasca biguttula biguttula Ishida, it was found that Morden and Cernianka-66 exhibited lesser response towards the preference by jassids indicating thereby that these two varieties are comparatively resistant to jassids.
