Twenty two fungicides were evaluated as per spore germination technique in presence of toxicants. Dithane-M 45 Dithane-Z 78, Miltox, Benlate, Bavistin, Plantvax, Vitavax, Karathane, Calixin, Captan, Brassicol Brestanol, Melprex and Deresol were found effective in inhibiting 100% spore germination of Puccinia arachidis at all 3 levels of doses. Cuman L., Dithane-D 14, Blitox-50 and Sicarol were effective only at double the normal dose where as Milcurb and Macu-prex were found ineffective in inhibiting spore germination at all the 3 levels of dose.
