Enhanced rate of potash at 2C0 kg/ha levels has been shown to harbour lesser population of both Green Leaf Hopper and Brown Plant Hopper in paddy. A maximum of 42.12 per cent reduction at 250 kgK/ha was possible at a pest load of 13.20 numbers of insects in the control.
