The phytotoxic effect of Neem kernel suspension in water at 1, 2 and 3 percent concentrations was studied under one to four sprayings on the tobacco seedlings. The results showed that Neem kernel suspension at 1 percent concentration was not phytotoxic even when sprayed 4 times on tobacco seedlings commencing, the first spray at 10 days after germination. Neem kernel suspension at 2 and 3 percent concentrations was phytotoxic till the seedlings are 20 days old.
