Tomato spotted wilt virus infection has drastic effect on height, root length and yield of groundnut depending on the time of infection during plant growth. Cent percent losses in pod yield were observed in plants that showed the disease symptoms within 45 days after sowing. Losses, however, decreased with age of plants.
