An experiment was conducted at Central Plant Protection Training Institute, Hyderabad to see the weed control efficiency of herbicides in sunflower var. EC 68475. Effective weed control was recorded under alachlor at 2.0 kg/ha, nitrofen at 2.0 kg/ha, hand weeding and alachlor at 1.0 kg/ha. The maximum yield of sunflower seed was obtained under alachlor at 2.0 kg/ha followed by alachlor at 1.0 kg/ha, hand weeding and nitrofen at 2.0 kg/ha.
