Among the five fungicides tested against leaf spot of bitter gourd (Momordica charantia L.) caued by Myrothecium roridum Tode ex Fries, bavi tin and di hane M-45 were proved to be effcctive in controlling the disease.
The disease rating in bavistin and dithane M-45 was 1.20 and 2,00 respectively as against 10.70 in check. The yield of bitter gourd fruits in these two treatments was significantly higher than that of check. Incremental cost benefit ratio was maximum in case of di hane M-45 followed by bavistin.
