Among the seven fungicides tested, carbendazim, benomyl and tridemorp at 0.05 per cent concentration were proved effective in controling the disease. The disears intensity in carbendazim, benomyl and tridemorph was only 2.99, 3.86 and 4.51 as against 51.60 in check. The disease intensity in these three treatments was significantly lower then check and at par with each other. The yield in all the three treatments was significantly improved, in comparison to check.
