Abstract

The magnitude of diversity among the edaphic factors such as soil conductivity. Soluble salts, organic matter, moisture, proportions of sand, silt, clay, soil pH of habitats of four agricultural pests such as the bandicoot rat, Bandicota bengalensis, Indian field mouse, Mus booduga, Indian gerbil, Tatera indica and mole cricket, Gryllotalpa hexadactyla are discussed in view of their habitat distribution in India.
