Abstract

Acid throwers do not usually intend to kill their victims, but to cause long-lasting physical damage and emotional trauma. Personality characters of perpetrators need to interpretation of psychocriminologist and forensics medicine. the objective of this paper si to Psycho-Criminal perspective of acid throwers, especially in point of Forensics Medicine and Criminal Psychologist Professor's view. Qualitative and quantitative mixed method with deep interview and making factors and contents in questionnaire form. All dataand information were collected from the Tehran Azad University(Law's school). Samples including 20 (10 Forensics Medicine expert and 10 forensic Criminal Psychologist). This paper found that According to the findings of this research, 4 major factors and 18 sub factors were extracted. Lack of conscience is a first priority to prediction of acid throwing. A repressed complex is a second priority to prediction of these perpetrators. Excitement and uncontrollable anger is a third and Violence and Aggression is a fourth.
