Commercial female brothersoft weeks of age were used to detennine the Apparent Metabolizable Energy (AME) and True Metabolizable Energy (TME) values of extruded fullfat soya by rapid bioassays of Sibbald (1976) and Farrel (1978). The AME values of extruded fullfat soya as estimated by Sibbald and Farrel methods were 3792 and 3801 KCal/Kg, respectively. The corresponding TME values for the two bio assays were 4051 and 3957 Kcal/Kg, respectively.
