The lead squares means for the age at sexual maturity was 169.155±2.783 days and for egg production at 40,56,72 weeks of age were 71.977±0.862, 140.624±1.335 and 198.588±1.999 numbers respectively in Khaki Campbell; 229.189±1.490 days and 19.453±0.172, 42.320±0.933 and 58.218±1.070 numbers respectively in desi and 220.240±1.620 days and 34.203±0.732, 64.679±1.027and 07.ll6±1.164 numbers respectively in crossbred (Khaki Canlpbell x desi) ducks.
Highly significant (P < 0.01) influence of genetic group was observed on age at sexual maturity and egg production. Significant earlier age at sexual maturity and higher egg production was observed for Khaki Campbell followed by cross and desi ducks. Both the traits were significantly affected (P < 0.01) by the month of hatch. Egg production at 40,56,72 weeks of age were significantly affected (P < 0.01) by age at sexual maturity.
