Enzymatic studies on serum and liver samples from natural and experimental cases of IBH infection in young broilers revealed a significant increase in aspartate amino transferase, alanine amino transferase, alkaline phosphatase, acid phosphatase, lactate dehydrogenase and adenosine triphosphatase. Serum GOT, GPT and AKP revealed maximum values on 35 days post infection (DPI) whereas, these enzymes showed maximum values in liver on 35 and 42 DPI. The peak values of ACP, LDH and ATP in srea samples were attained on 28, 42 and 56 DPI, respectively.
